While reading in Luke this morning, I was inspired to create a vivid painting in my head of the last few verses of Zechariah's prophecy.
"Because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to
give light to those who sit in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."
~Luke 1:78 &79
Jesus has come to "give light to those who sit in the shadow of death." That is beautiful. That is why we celebrate Christmas.

"Christmas changes our hearts, its seems, whether we wish it so or not. There is a power the
coming of Christ has over even the most obdurate unbeliever that simply cannot be escaped." ~Charles Dickens
