School, Vets, Painting, and reflections of the Gospel

That's where I paint at school....

That's the squeaky hallway I walk down everyday....

Where I like to hang out (Art History section)

I was able to go to Laura and Ben's beautiful wedding last Saturday...

That's my brother Benjamin, who I like a lot :)

Signs of spring!!

Out photographing Vets again over spring break... I got a lot of awesome pictures...
I'm not going to post any more though, maybe once they are in painting form! :)

I am getting more and more excited about my senior show. Veterinarians are able to see so many amazing things. I love riding with them from farm to farm and hanging out in the office. I have even been able to observe surgeries which I find extremely fascinating. God is the most amazing artist. The anatomies of all the various animals are amazing. I am so thankful I get to be a witness to such things.

I am not saying Vets have the happiest job ever, as I have also witnessed many hardships that come with the job. But amidst all of the hardships there is always a glimmer of hope; the promise of new life. I believe there are shadows of the gospel story every day in a veterinarian's life (and indeed any occupation). This idea is the underlying foundation of my senior show theme.
